Maintenance of Water and Sewer Facilities in Saldanha Bay.

Description

This tender is for electrical and mechanical maintenance and refurbishment of water and sewer pump stations and wastewater treatment works in the Saldanha Bay Municipality. The contract will run from 01 July 2026 to 30 June 2029. A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on 11 June 2026.

Requirements

• CIDB grading of 7ME or higher required.
• Good standing with BCCEI required.
• Valid tax clearance and CSD compliance required.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience required.
• Three reference letters for similar contracts.
• Not in arrears for more than 3 months with municipal rates and taxes.
• Not listed on the Register of Tender Defaulters.
• Appropriate risk, public liability, and professional indemnity insurance required.
• ISO 9001:2015 quality procedure accreditation required.
• Electricians must be registered with the Department of Labour.
• Completed a similar 12-month maintenance contract successfully.
• Letter of good standing and R2,000,000 liability insurance required.
