Description
The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure invites bids for the provision of 24-hour security services at the eThekwini Regional Office. The contract spans 36 months and includes access control, patrolling, asset protection, and crime prevention. The service provider must supply trained security personnel for day and night shifts, along with necessary equipment such as radios, scanners, and a vehicle. The work will take place in Mayville, Durban. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience by providing a schedule of at least three completed contracts within the last five years, with at least one contract valued at a minimum of R5 million.
Requirements
- Valid PSIRA registration for entity and Grade A/B for owner/director
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
- Registered with the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF)
- Registered with the Private Security Sector Provident Fund (PSSPF)
- Valid ICASA license or radio equipment registration
- Public Liability Insurance policy of at least R10,000,000
- Proof of ownership for at least five company vehicles
- SAPS criminal record clearance for all staff
