Description
The Karoo Hoogland Local Municipality is inviting bids for the appointment of a service provider to handle financial services for a three-year period, from 2026 to 2029. The work will take place in the Karoo Hoogland municipal area. The primary deliverables include the preparation of Annual and Mid-term Financial Statements, the compilation and maintenance of a GRAP-compliant Asset Register, and the physical verification of assets including landfill sites. The service provider must also provide hands-on training to municipal staff to transfer skills regarding financial statement preparation and asset management. The project requires the use of compliant accounting software and the addressing of prior audit findings. The contract duration is three years, and the tender remains valid for 90 days after the closing date of 17 June 2026.
