Description
The Khâi-Ma Local Municipality invites bids for the completion of outstanding works for the Pofadder Microgrid Project. This project involves the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a 33.3kWp PV solar off-grid system, including a containerized inverter and battery energy storage system. The scope includes ground-mount solar arrays, overhead electrical service connections with pre-payment meters, and civil works such as facebrick cladding. The successful bidder will also provide 12 months of system monitoring, maintenance, and staff training. The work is located in Pofadder and is funded by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy. The project requires a re-measurement contract approach with specific payment tranches scheduled between June 2026 and March 2027. Bidders must demonstrate technical expertise in solar and electrical infrastructure to meet the project requirements.
