Description
PRASA is inviting bids for the repair of S1 Remote Control Equipment and sub-rack backboards in the KwaZulu-Natal region. This contract will run for 36 months or until the project value reaches R1 000 000.00. The work involves technical repairs on signalling equipment as required by the station plan. The successful contractor must provide detailed reports for all completed work and deliver items to the PRASA Signals Department in Clairwood. A compulsory site briefing will be held on 08 June 2026 at the Durban Station offices to ensure bidders understand the scope of work. All work must be completed according to the specified technical standards.
Requirements
- Proven track record in signalling or electronic equipment repair projects
- Personnel must hold electrician and signalling experience qualifications
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status Pin
- Registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
