Description

The Electoral Commission (IEC) invites bids for the supply, delivery, and installation of office furniture for various local offices across the Eastern Cape Province. The project includes providing items such as desks, credenzas, pedestals, boardroom tables, and filing cabinets. All furniture must be delivered, assembled, and ready for immediate use. The successful service provider must complete all deliveries and installations within 60 days of receiving an official purchase order. Deliveries are scheduled for weekdays between 08:30 and 16:00, with prior notification required for all site arrivals. The contract includes a mandatory two-year manufacturer’s warranty on furniture and a five-year warranty on chair gas mechanisms. Bidders must ensure all pricing is market-related and inclusive of transport and assembly costs. The project is subject to strict local content requirements, and the successful bidder will undergo a due diligence audit, which may include providing pre-production samples for quality testing.
