Description
The Department of Transport invites bids for pre-employment screening services for a 12-month period. The service provider will verify prospective employee credentials, including SAQA qualifications, criminal and financial records, citizenship status, employment references, and social media activity. The work will be managed by the Supply Chain Management Unit in Bhisho. Key deliverables include providing authentic, timeous verification reports, maintaining real-time tracking systems, and ensuring strict data security in line with POPIA. Reports must generally be submitted within 36 hours, with longer turnaround times for foreign or pre-1992 qualifications. The contract commences upon agreement with the successful bidder.

- Registered with SACRRA
- Registered with National Verification Requirement or Credit Bureau
- Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid SARS tax compliance status
- Proof of relevant experience via completion certificates or client testimonials
- Must not be listed on the register of tender defaulters
