The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) is seeking fifteen mentors to support MSMEs in its Cross-Border Incubation Programme. The project runs from October 2026 to March 2028. Mentors will provide coaching, business planning, and operational support to help businesses grow. Key deliverables include diagnostic reports, individual mentorship plans, and regular progress reports. Bidders must have at least ten years of experience in transport, logistics, and cross-border operations. The work involves conducting monthly sessions and monitoring participant performance to ensure business success.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or certificate
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Minimum ten years of relevant experience with signed reference letters
- Valid cross-border permit for international operations
