The Western Cape Mobility Department invites bids for the implementation and impact evaluation of pedestrian safety interventions. The project covers various road safety programs, including the Safely Home Campaign and Road Safety Ambassadors, conducted between 2023 and 2026. Work will take place across the Western Cape, with 70% of the focus in the Cape Metro area. Key deliverables include an inception report, fieldwork data collection, draft and final evaluation reports, an infographic summary, and an implementation plan. The project concludes on 30 April 2027. Bidders must provide a team with specific expertise in transport research, road safety, and stakeholder engagement, supported by a portfolio of three relevant previous projects.
