Description

The eThekwini Municipality invites tenders for the upgrade of Maniza Road (TRK 93249) in the KwaXimba area, Ward 1. The project involves converting approximately 750 meters of gravel road into a reinforced concrete roadway. Key deliverables include bulk earthworks, layerworks, construction of concrete v-drains, driveways, a double-barrel in-situ culvert, and stormwater drainage systems. Protection works such as gabion boxes and retaining walls are also required. The project must be completed within 36 weeks from the commencement date. Bidders must attend a compulsory clarification meeting on 27 July 2026 at the Roads Provision Department in Hillcrest. The tender closing date is 21 August 2026 at 11:00.

  • Proof of no arrears for municipal rates and taxes
  • Minimum 3 similar contracts completed in the last 10 years
  • Attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting
