The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) is seeking a panel of service providers to perform annual comprehensive health assessments for approximately 652 eligible employees. The scope includes pre-assessments, physical biometric screenings, pathology tests, and detailed health reporting. Assessments must be conducted at the service provider’s own facilities across South African provinces, as mobile units are not permitted. The contract will span a duration of three years, with performance reviewed annually. Key deliverables include individual face-to-face medical consultations, electronic health reports for employees, and monthly organizational health risk profile reports for the IDC. The project aims to monitor the wellness and health trends of executives and senior staff members.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
Full requirements
- Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD registration
- Medical staff must hold valid HPCSA professional registration
- Valid B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit
- Proven experience: three references for similar corporate health services within five years
