The Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) is inviting bids for the maintenance of the Building and Marine Depot located at 223 Maydon Road, Port of Durban. The contract is set for a duration of six months, commencing on 16 November 2026 and concluding on 15 May 2027. A compulsory site briefing is scheduled for 08 September 2026. Bidders must manage all health and safety requirements, including site-specific risk assessments and the appointment of a registered safety officer. The work requires strict adherence to port access protocols and environmental standards for waste disposal, particularly regarding asbestos removal. All activities must be completed in accordance with the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract standards.
