Description
The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) invites tenders for the repairs and maintenance of civil equipment and machinery at Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport. This contract will operate on an as-and-when-required basis for a duration of 36 months. The scope includes servicing and repairing items such as tractors, mowers, sweepers, and compressors. Bidders must ensure all work meets safety and environmental standards, including airside induction training and security vetting for personnel. The contract requires a 48-hour response time for call-outs and a 30-day turnaround for serviced items. All pricing must remain fixed for the duration of the contract. Bidders must achieve a minimum functionality score of 60 points to qualify for further evaluation. The work is subject to strict performance penalties and a 6-month defects liability period.
Full requirements
- Valid CIDB contractor grading of 1ME or higher
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN
- Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Proof of Public Liability, Employer’s Liability, and Motor Vehicle insurance
- Bank rating and letter of solvency from auditors
- Minimum of three traceable references for similar completed projects
