The South African Radio Astronomy Observatory (SARAO) is seeking a Systems Engineering Consultant for the Africa2Moon project. The successful bidder will provide 300 hours of specialised technical support, including planning, requirements management, and engineering analysis for satellite and electronic systems. The work will be performed on a hybrid basis, with remote tasks and occasional attendance at the SARAO office in Cape Town. Key deliverables include technical documentation, test reports, and configuration management support. The project requires a highly experienced engineer to manage technical baselines and provide expert advice to the Project Manager. Work must commence within seven days of the official order date.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
