Air Chefs is seeking a panel of service providers to perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on refrigeration, cooling towers, and heat exchanger equipment. This work will take place in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. The contract will run for a period of 24 months on an as-and-when required basis. Key deliverables include routine preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown support with a 4-hour response time, and detailed service reporting. Bidders must provide a 12-month warranty on all workmanship and materials. The project requires a team including refrigeration technicians, electricians, and cooling tower specialists. A mandatory briefing session is scheduled for 09 October 2026 at 13:00, and the final closing date for submissions is 13 October 2026 at 16:00.
What you need to qualify
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
