The Department of Public Works and Infrastructure invites bids for a Professional Construction Health and Safety Agent for the Ladybrand Magistrate Office roof replacement project in the Free State. The successful bidder will monitor compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act throughout the project lifecycle. Key deliverables include conducting baseline risk assessments, approving contractor safety plans, performing monthly site audits, and managing the final safety close-out report. The project is scheduled to run from September 2027 to July 2029. Bidders must ensure the practice is supervised by a registered Professional Construction Health and Safety Agent (Pr. CHSA) with the SACPCMP. The closing date for submissions is 23 October 2026 at 11:00.
