Description

Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) is inviting proposals for the lease of land at the Port of Richards Bay, specifically located at Lot 2/3, 2/4, and 2/5 Umhlathuzi sites, Bayview Precinct. The total area available is 3,600 square meters. The land is intended for warehouse, equipment, or clean cargo storage purposes for a lease period of up to 15 years. The property is provided on an 'as is' basis, and the successful bidder is responsible for all necessary refurbishments and capital improvements. A non-compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 21 October 2026. The deadline for all bid submissions is 20 November 2026 at 16:00. Bidders must provide a detailed business plan, market analysis, and cash flow projections as part of their proposal.
