Description

The uMzinyathi District Municipality is inviting bids for the supply and delivery of protective clothing for meter readers, control staff, and Environmental Health Practitioners. The work will take place in the uMzinyathi District. Key deliverables include various items such as reflective jackets, two-piece overalls, rain suits, heavy-duty gloves, bush hats, and gumboots. All items must meet specific SANS and SABS quality standards and include municipal branding through embroidery. Bidders are required to supply 18 units of most items, with 36 pairs of gloves. Prices must be firm, inclusive of VAT, and valid for at least 90 days. The project will be evaluated using the 80/20 preferential point system. All physical samples of the items must be submitted with the bid to ensure compliance with quality specifications. The deadline for all submissions is 12h00 on 15 October 2026.
