Description

The Mvula Trust invites tenders for the appointment of Quantity Surveying professional service providers to lead a multi-disciplinary team for school infrastructure projects in the Eastern Cape Province, specifically Cluster 5. The work involves planning, designing, and managing construction at various schools in the O.R. Tambo Inland district. Key deliverables include site investigations, development of Bills of Quantities, contract administration, quality control, financial management, and project close-out reporting. The appointed team will also manage project data on the Education Facilities Management System. The project is expected to last 24 months, with construction estimated to take between 9 and 12 months. Work is scheduled to commence on 1 April 2026. Bidders must provide a team including a Principal Agent, Quantity Surveyor, Civil/Structural Engineer, OHS Agent, and Project Administrator, all with relevant professional registrations and experience.

  • Valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate and PIN
  • Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance of at least twice the professional fee
  • Valid COIDA Certificate of Good Standing
  • CIPC Company Registration documents
  • Key personnel must hold SACQSP, ECSA, or SACPCMP professional registration
  • Documented experience in projects valued at minimum R10 million
  • Signed participation confirmation letters for all core team members
