The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa) is requesting quotations for the provision of scaffolding services. The project requires the supply of five scaffolding erectors and three scaffolding inspectors. The work will take place at Necsa facilities. Proposals will be evaluated based on a technical functionality score, and bidders must meet a minimum threshold to qualify for further assessment. The contract will follow the 80/20 preference point system for price and specific goals. All submitted quotations must remain valid for 90 days from the closing date of 12 October 2026.
What you need to qualify
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
