Description
The Department of Public Works & Infrastructure invites tenders for the once-off servicing of fire equipment in the Ehlanzeni District. The project requires the maintenance and testing of various fire protection systems, including hand-held DCP and CO2 units, hose reels, fire hydrants, foam extinguishers, gas suppression systems, and fire detection and sprinkler systems. All work must comply with SANS 1475 standards. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labour, materials, transport, and equipment. The closing date for this tender is 08 June 2026 at 16h00.
Full requirements
- CIDB contractor grading of 2 SF or higher (1 SF PE for emerging enterprises)
- Valid SABS or SACAS certification for fire equipment servicing
- Personnel must hold valid SAQCC 1475 fire equipment and detection registration
- Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
