Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is inviting tenders for the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of additional mass meters at the Kusile Power Station. The project scope is multidisciplinary, covering mechanical, electrical, and control and instrumentation works. The contract duration is 6 months. Bidders must adhere to strict safety, quality, and environmental standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance. The project requires the submission of a site-specific Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) plan, a Contract Quality Plan, and an Inspection and Test Plan. All work must comply with Eskom’s life-saving rules and zero-tolerance substance abuse policies. The tender process is governed by the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and requires adherence to local production and content thresholds where applicable.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- CIDB grading — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
