The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development invites bids for the provision of South African Sign Language training. The project involves training 20 employees across salary levels 6 to 9 to improve communication with hearing-impaired individuals. The training will take place in Durban over a duration of 3 working days. Key deliverables include the facilitation of learning, conducting formative and summative assessments, moderation, issuing certifications, and providing a comprehensive close-out report. The training curriculum covers manual alphabet, basic vocabulary, grammar, deaf culture, and specialized communication techniques. The service provider must be an accredited training entity with the necessary capacity to deliver these services effectively.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Valid accreditation from QCTO, SETA, or relevant professional body
- Four verifiable training service references from the last 10 years
