Description

The National Lotteries Commission is seeking a catering service provider for an Education and Awareness Workshop. The event will take place on 19 August 2026 at Siphokuhle Secondary School in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. The service provider must supply pre-packaged lunches and beverages for 150 delegates. The menu includes starch, two meat options, two salads, and two vegetable dishes. Additionally, the provider must supply 300 bottles of water and 150 soft drinks. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary cutlery, crockery, and linens, as well as managing all waste removal from the venue. The service is for a single day.

What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
• Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

• Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status
• Valid Certificate of Acceptability for food premises
• Proof of COIDA registration and coverage
• Valid B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit
