The Msunduzi Municipality invites bids for a Professional Environmental Assessment Practitioner to manage the Waste Management Licence renewal for the New England Road Landfill Site in Pietermaritzburg. The project involves conducting air space calculations, preparing regulatory documentation, and managing public participation processes. The contract duration is six months. The closing date for submissions is 23 September 2026 at 12h00.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
Full requirements
- Environmental Specialist must hold valid EAPASA registration.
- Land Surveyor must hold valid SAGC registration.
- Environmental Specialist requires minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Land Surveyor requires minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Must have completed 2 EIA applications and 3 topographical surveys.
- Must provide valid Tax Compliance Status Pin.
- Must be registered on the National Treasury CSD.
- Must provide proof of up-to-date municipal rates and taxes.
