ATNS is seeking a service provider to design, supply, install, and maintain a fully integrated Fire Detection and Suppression System (FDSS) at the King Shaka International Airport Operations Centre and the Bluff Radar site. This is a turnkey project that includes decommissioning old systems, integrating new technology with existing building infrastructure, and providing 10 years of maintenance and support. The project requires detailed engineering, civil and electrical works, system testing, and staff training. The contract duration spans 12 years, covering the acquisition, installation, and long-term maintenance phases. Work will take place at specific technical facilities, including radar halls, equipment rooms, and control tower areas. Bidders must attend compulsory online and site briefings to qualify for the tender process.

- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
