The KwaZulu-Natal Economic Regulatory Authority (KZNERA) invites service providers to supply, implement, and maintain Wide Area Network (WAN) and internet connectivity services for a 12-month period. The project involves upgrading fibre links between the Pietermaritzburg (PMB) and Durban (DBN) offices to 300Mbps, and providing dedicated 200Mbps 1:1 fibre internet access at both locations. Key deliverables include managed support services, real-time monitoring, the installation of a monitoring server, and assistance with equipment relocation. The solution must be a private data transfer link and cannot use SD-WAN or wireless technology. Bidders must appoint a project manager to coordinate all activities. All work must be performed with minimal disruption to business operations, and the contract requires firm pricing for the full duration.
