The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) is seeking a service provider to inspect and maintain firefighting equipment at their offices. The work includes servicing fire extinguishers and hose reels annually, as well as quarterly maintenance of the fire suppression system in the IT data centre. The contract will run for 24 months, ending in September 2028. The service provider must ensure all equipment is properly labeled and provide detailed status reports after each inspection. The work will take place across the ground and first floors of the C-BRTA premises.
What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
