Provision of Security Services at Cecilia Makiwane Hospital

Description

The Eastern Cape Department of Health is seeking a service provider to supply security services at Cecilia Makiwane Regional Hospital. The contract will run for 36 months. The provider must ensure a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors by managing 121 security guards across day and night shifts. Key responsibilities include 24/7 access control, regular patrols, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, and managing keys. The service provider must also maintain a fully equipped security control centre and provide trained, uniformed personnel. The project aims to protect government assets and property while maintaining high security standards throughout the hospital premises.

What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

• Valid Health Insurance registration and Letter of Good Standing
• Valid COIDA certificate
