Transnet Engineering is inviting bids for the hiring of a three-wheeler welding machine for the Germiston Main Plant. The contract will run for a period of 12 months on an as-and-when-required basis. The scope includes the supply, maintenance, and repair of the welding machine, as well as training at least four employees on its operation and first-line maintenance. The machine must meet specific technical dimensions, including fitting through a 428mm tank diameter and having a 20m interconnection cable. A compulsory site meeting is scheduled for 17 June 2026 at 03 Keswick Road, Germiston. The closing date for all submissions is 26 June 2026 at 15:00 PM. Bidders must ensure all technical specifications are met, as no deviations are permitted.
