Description
The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA) is inviting tenders for the design and construction of a System Operating Control (SOC) building at the eMkhiweni Substation in Mpumalanga. This is a turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project. The scope includes architectural and engineering design, site construction, commissioning of building services (HVAC, fire protection, security, and telecommunications), and handover. The project requires a 12-month warranty period and skills transfer for five employer civil engineers. The project duration is 42 months, with a site access date of 28 September 2026. Bidders must attend a compulsory site briefing on 10 June 2026. The project must adhere to National Key Point security standards and ISO 9001 quality management protocols.
Requirements
- Must have valid CSD registration
- Must have valid Tax Clearance/SARS PIN
- Must have valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
- Key personnel must be registered with SACAP, ECSA, or SACPCMP
- Must hold ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification
- Must attend the compulsory site briefing
- Must provide audited financial statements for the previous 18 months
