Description

The National Treasury has issued a tender for the supply and delivery of agricultural remedies to the State, identified by bid number RT12-1-2026. This contract will remain effective until 28 February 2029. The scope includes the provision of 109 line items across five categories: herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, adjuvants, and pesticides. Deliveries will be made to State facilities nationwide on an as-needed basis. Service providers must ensure all products comply with the Fertilizers, Farm Feeds, Agricultural Remedies and Stock Remedies Act of 1947 or the Medicines and Related Substances Act of 1965. Successful bidders are responsible for the safe storage, handling, and transportation of these goods, as well as the collection of empty, triple-rinsed containers. A non-compulsory virtual briefing session is scheduled for 28 July 2026, and the final closing date for submissions is 17 August 2026 at 11h00.
