Description

The City of Mbombela is inviting bids for the appointment of a banking institution to provide comprehensive banking services for a period of five years. The successful bidder will manage the City's transactional requirements, including general commercial banking, electronic funds transfer, investment services, and short-term overdraft facilities ranging from R50 million to R100 million. The scope includes cash management services across 12 municipal sites, the provision of 40 portable Point of Sale devices, and integration with the City's SOLAR financial system. Bidders must provide fraud prevention systems, staff training, and implementation support. The work will be performed within the City of Mbombela jurisdiction. Bidders must be licensed banking institutions under the Banks Act of 1990 and demonstrate an established local branch network.
