Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd invites tenders for the re-routing of a coal truck access road and the relocation of a tarpaulin cover removal area at Arnot Power Station. The project requires the successful contractor to provide a detailed method statement, a schedule of plant, and a comprehensive Quality Control Plan. What you need to qualify
- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- CIDB grading (Grade 7 Civil Engineering (7CE)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
Full requirements
- CIDB grading of 7CE or higher
- Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid SARS tax compliance status
- Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
- Key personnel must hold SACPCMP or ECSA professional registration
- Must hold SAMTRAC, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 certifications
- Proof of five similar contracts completed within the last 15 years
