Description

The Mopani District Municipality invites contractors to bid for the Giyani Water Reticulation Phase 2A project. What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• CIDB grading (Grade 6 Civil Engineering (6CE)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
• Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• VAT registration — A registered VAT vendor number with SARS.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

Full requirements

• Must hold valid CIDB grading 6CE to 8CE
• Key personnel must hold SACPCMP professional registration
• Must provide valid CIPC and VAT registration documents
• Must provide valid Tax Clearance Certificate PIN
• Must provide valid Workmen Compensation Certificate
• Must provide municipal rates or proof of residence
• Must provide audited financial statements for last three years
• Must provide accountant-certified proof of business solvency
• Must provide updated CSD registration report
