Description

The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) is seeking a service provider for the 'Network Redundancy & Wireless Infrastructure Enhancement' project (RFQ No: QCTO 10/2026). The work will take place at the QCTO site in Hatfield, Pretoria. The project involves supplying and installing Cisco network hardware, including switches and a wireless controller, to improve network resilience and redundancy. Additionally, the provider must conduct a professional Wi-Fi survey across three floors (approximately 5,478 m2) to map coverage and identify interference. Key deliverables include a fully redundant core switching environment, a configured wireless controller, a detailed Wi-Fi survey report, updated network architecture documentation, and a three-month post-implementation support plan. Bidders must attend a compulsory site inspection to evaluate existing infrastructure before submitting their quotations. The project closing date is 20 July 2026 at 11:00.
