Description

The Rustenburg Local Municipality is seeking a technical project support service provider for its Housing Unit. The successful bidder will assist with the implementation of human settlement projects, including program and project management, for a period of 36 months. Key responsibilities include providing technical capacity, managing project viability, overseeing contracts, ensuring quality assurance, and handling project finance and reporting. The work will be performed in Rustenburg. The project requires a team of professionals, including civil and structural engineers, project managers, and town planners, all of whom must hold relevant professional registrations. The service provider is expected to work full-time, five days a week. The tender will be evaluated based on an 80/20 preferential point system, and bidders must achieve a minimum functionality score of 70 points to qualify.

What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

Full requirements

• Maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance of at least R5 Million
• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Must possess valid Tax Compliance Status
• Personnel must hold relevant ECSA, SACPCMP, or SACPLAN professional registrations
• Must provide proof of company experience via appointment and reference letters
