Description

Transnet National Ports Authority invites applications for the lease of a 12m² premises at the Port of Richards Bay, specifically located at Sub 21 (of 8) over a portion of Lot 5333 uMhlathuze. The site is currently used for air quality monitoring. The lease period is for five years, starting from 01 November 2026. The property is leased on an 'as is' basis, and the successful bidder is responsible for all necessary repairs, upgrades, and maintenance at their own cost. Hazardous activities, such as the storage of chemicals or truck refueling, are strictly prohibited. A non-compulsory briefing session will be held on 21 October 2026. Bidders must submit a detailed business plan, market analysis, and project schedule. The closing date for all applications is 20 November 2026 at 16:00.
