Plumbing Maintenance at RAF Head Office.

Description

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is seeking a service provider to perform plumbing maintenance at their Head Office located at 420 Witch Hazel Road, Centurion. The project involves the flushing, cleaning, and disinfection of the entire water distribution network, including toilets, urinals, basins, and kitchen sinks. The service provider must remove sediment and debris, restore disinfectant levels, and ensure the system is leak-free and safe. All work must comply with SANS-10252 standards. The contractor is required to provide a Certificate of Compliance upon completion. The project must be executed using chemicals that do not damage plumbing fixtures. The RAF will evaluate bids based on an 80/20 preference point system. The contract is for a specific scope of work at the RAF Head Office, and all pricing must be inclusive of VAT and remain fixed once the purchase order is issued.

What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• VAT registration — A registered VAT vendor number with SARS.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
• Plumber must be registered with PIRB
• Valid medical certificate for disability status claims
