Description

The Border Management Authority invites bids for a workplace ergonomics and Occupational Health and Safety risk assessment at its Head Office. The project covers a 4200m² facility across three floors, serving 152 employees. The successful service provider must identify and evaluate ergonomic hazards in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Key deliverables include an inception report and a comprehensive risk assessment report with recommended control measures. The project must be completed within four weeks of the contract award. Offers remain valid for 90 days, and the total cost must be a fixed price inclusive of VAT.

  • CSD registrationRegistration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
  • Tax clearanceA valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
  • B-BBEE certificateA B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
  • VAT registrationA registered VAT vendor number with SARS.
  • Other registrationAn industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

Full requirements

  • Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD registration
  • B-BBEE status verification certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Three signed reference letters proving relevant industry experience
  • Project Manager must hold NQF Level 7 or higher qualification
  • Professional registration with Ergonomics Society of South Africa (ESSA)
  • Professional Indemnity insurance with minimum R160 million cover
  • Personnel must hold South African citizenship or valid work permits
