Eskom is inviting tenders for the once-off refurbishment of five 1350NB triple offset metal-seated butterfly valves. These valves are used as Cooling Water (CW) isolation valves for the main condensers (T1 and T2) at the Grootvlei Power Station. The scope includes collecting the valves from the power station, transporting them to a South African workshop, performing refurbishment, conducting hydrostatic and leakage testing, and returning them. The contractor must handle all necessary cranage and ensure compatibility with existing Auma actuators. The project requires strict adherence to Eskom quality, safety, and environmental standards.
