Provision of Crushed Stone for Road R63 Improvement.

Description

The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of crushed stone aggregate for the improvement of National Road R63, Sections 15 and 16, between Bisho and the N6 bridge intersection. The project involves site clearing, drilling, blasting, crushing, and stockpiling of various aggregate types. The contractor must manage weighbridges, provide site security, and perform site rehabilitation. The contract duration is 12 months, including a 3-month mobilization period. Key deliverables include the supply of materials to designated stockpiles and adherence to strict environmental and safety management plans. Bidders must appoint qualified personnel, including a Mine Manager, Blaster, Surveyor, and Health and Safety Officer. A minimum of 30% of the contract value must be subcontracted to Targeted Enterprises, and specific skills development goals must be met.

• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
