Eskom invites tenders for the purchase, collection, and removal of electrostatic ferrous scrap material located at the Lethabo Power Station. This project requires the successful bidder to perform on-site cutting, loading, and transportation of the scrap material. The contract duration is set for six months. Interested parties may attend a non-compulsory site clarification meeting on 11 June 2026. All work must strictly adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The financial evaluation will be based on an 80/20 preference point system, prioritizing the best price and B-BBEE status. The closing date for all submissions is 15 June 2026 at 10:00.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- B-BBEE Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit
- Proof of registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid Letter of Good Standing (COID)
- Valid SAPS Secondhand Goods Certificate
- Valid Environmental Waste Management Licence or municipal transport certificate
- Personnel must hold valid driver licenses and Professional Driving Permits (PDPs)
- Personnel must possess valid medical fitness certificates
- Personnel must hold valid SHE competency training certificates
