Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking an Approved Professional Person (APP) to conduct statutory dam safety inspections and a lining feasibility study at the Kendal Power Station. The project involves evaluating several dams, including Raw Water Reservoirs, Clean Water, Dirty Water, Emergency, Maturation, and Coal Stockyard dams. Key deliverables include comprehensive dam safety reports compliant with the National Water Act, and a feasibility study covering technical lining options, economic cost-benefit analysis, and environmental impact assessments. The contract duration is three months. The work must be performed in accordance with NEC3 Professional Services Contract standards. The successful bidder must ensure all activities are scheduled and resourced appropriately to meet regulatory requirements and power station operational constraints.
