The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) is seeking to appoint a panel of six export mentors. The successful candidates will provide coaching and mentorship to emerging and experienced exporters for a period of 36 months. The work will be based in South Africa and involves assessing business export potential, developing market entry strategies, and conducting export readiness training. Mentors will facilitate both virtual and in-person sessions, perform site visits, and assist businesses with market research and trade lead tracking. Deliverables include regular progress reports and the implementation of a four-phase training structure. The project aims to improve export competitiveness and sustainability for local businesses.
