This contract spans 36 months. The scope includes vegetation control, track infrastructure maintenance, ballast management, and drainage repairs. Contractors must follow SANS 1200 and Transnet standards. Key deliverables include monthly project labour reports, inspection reports, and health and safety documentation. Bidders must provide qualified personnel, including a Contracts Manager, a certified Track Master, and a qualified Track Welder. The project will be evaluated based on a functionality score of at least 60/100 and an 80/20 preference point system.
