Provision of Cleaning Services for Onderstepoort Facility.

Description

Onderstepoort Biological Products (SOC) Ltd is seeking a service provider for professional cleaning and hygiene services at their facility. The contract will last for 12 months. The work involves cleaning offices, boardrooms, kitchens, and specialized areas like packaging and distribution zones. The provider must supply seven trained staff members to perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, including floor maintenance, waste management, and kitchen support. The contractor is responsible for providing all cleaning chemicals and consumables. The work must be performed according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, as the site is a pharmaceutical environment. The project is located at the Onderstepoort facility.

What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
• UIF registration — Registration with the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

Full requirements

• Registered on Central Supplier Database (CSD) with valid tax compliance status
• Membership with a professional cleaning industry body (e.g., NCCA or BEECA)
• Valid COIDA registration for cleaning services
• Valid UIF compliance certificate
• Public liability insurance coverage of at least R500,000
• Proven experience in GMP-regulated environments with two reference letters
• Proof of accredited skills training for cleaning personnel
