Supply and Installation of Office Furniture in Free State.

Description

The Electoral Commission (IEC) is seeking a service provider to supply, deliver, and install office furniture for 213 municipal local offices across the Free State Province. The project requires the provision of various items, including workstations, high-back chairs, visitor chairs, boardroom tables, and filing cabinets. All furniture must be fully assembled and ready for immediate use upon delivery. The successful bidder must complete all deliveries and installations within 60 days of receiving an official purchase order. Deliveries are scheduled during standard business hours, Monday to Friday. The project is subject to a due diligence audit, and bidders must ensure all items meet specific technical and quality standards.

What you need to qualify

• CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
• Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
• Import/export licence — A SARS importer's/exporter's code for cross-border goods.
• Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

Full requirements

• Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Must maintain valid tax compliance status
• Must meet minimum local content thresholds for all furniture items
• Must hold relevant SABS conformance certificates
• Must provide written authorization from the dtic for imported raw materials
