The Garden Route District Municipality invites bids for the appointment of a service provider to update the Operating License Plan and Transport Register for the district and its local municipalities, excluding George. The project spans 18 months and involves 13 key tasks, including data collection, infrastructure assessment, policy framework development, and stakeholder consultation. Key deliverables include technical reports, electronic data files, and final documentation for each municipality. Bidders must provide a team consisting of a Team Leader and two additional members, all holding at least a National Diploma in Civil Engineering. The Team Leader is required to have a minimum of five years of experience in drafting integrated transport plans. Bidders must submit CVs, proof of availability, and three reference letters from recent relevant projects to demonstrate their capability to execute this professional service contract.
