The Department of Electricity and Energy (DEE) invites proposals for the appointment of service providers to conduct energy performance assessments and issue Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) for five specific buildings. These buildings include NECSA, NRWADI, NERSA, NNR, and Eskom Holding SOC Ltd. The project supports the National Energy Efficiency Strategy and requires the successful bidder to perform assessments, issue certificates, submit data to the National Building Energy Performance Register, and facilitate a capacity-building workshop. Additionally, the service provider must train two unemployed youth or women in energy performance assessments. The contract duration is six months from the date of the Service Level Agreement. All work must be completed and reported in both electronic and hard copy formats. The bid is valid for 120 days from the closing date of 17 July 2026.
